SUBJECT: PER – Reassignments and Detail Appointments

TO: All NRCS Employees

In order to fill critical positions and meet the workload demands as we transition to a new farm bill, the following assignments are being made.

Jim Dunaway, Soil Conservationist on the State Office Programs staff will serve as the Acting Assistant State Conservationist for Programs until June 6, 2008.

Mike Hughes, District Conservationist in Muncie, will serve as the Acting Soil Conservationist on the State Office Program staff effective April 28, 2008 until June 6, 2008.

Scott Mynesberge, District Conservationist in Portland, will cover Delaware and Blackford Counties until June 6, 2008.

Teresah Caire, Area Conservationist in North Vernon, Indiana has been directly reassigned to the Assistant State Conservationist for Programs effective June 9, 2008.

Terry Stephenson, RC&D Coordinator for Historic Hoosier Hills, will serve as the Acting Area Conservationist for the Southeast Area effective May 25, 2008 until July 26, 2008.

Pat Larr, District Conservationist in Charlestown, will serve as the Acting Area Conservationist for the Southeast Area effective July 27, 2008 until September 27, 2008.

Darrell Nicholson, District Conservationist in Greensburg, will serve as the Acting Area Conservationist for the Southeast Area effective September 28, 2008 until the Area Conservationist position is filled.
