Indiana Field Employees Council

The Indiana Field Employee Council was established December 5, 2005 by NRCS State Conservationist Jane Hardisty to:

  • Provide a mechanism by which field staff could seek representation of critical issues in a neutral venue for consideration by the Leadership Team via the State Conservationist.
  • Provide feedback to State Conservationist on issues with the Partnership.
  • Make recommendations to State Conservationist as to who would be best suited in the field for testing of new concepts and tools.
  • Provide a venue for constructive two-way feedback between the Indiana Leadership Team and field staff through the State Conservationist.
  • Provide an opportunity for field staff to conduct constructive analysis of new issues; such as structural shifts, program and/or policy introduction or modification, and new ranking rollout.

Contact an IFEC member to carry forward concerns, ideas, and issues to the State Conservationist.
