3. All map finishing is performed according to the NRCS specifications as described in National Soil Survey Handbook (NSSH) Part 647, Soil Map Development. The correlation document and amendments are current with the map finished material. The soils data are derived from the Soil Survey Geographic Database. A 100 percent edit is completed by the digitizing unit. See Exhibit 7 for a certification statement that should be signed by the map finishing unit and sent with a 10 percent sample to be reviewed by the Region 11 MLRA Office to provide quality assurance of the map finished product. For a checklist of the necessary compilation source materials see Exhibit 8. See Exhibit 9 for a checklist used in the review process. Errors found in the 10 percent quality assurance review process are to be corrected and all sheets should be reviewed for similar errors.
