Region 11 Guidance Documents Summary of Changes (1/22/2009)

Removed “Draft” status from all technical notes, operating procedures, and appendices. These documents, dated January 2009, are the final copy.

Appendix I – updated names and positions at MLRA Soil Survey Offices, as of January 1, 2009

Appendix I and II – changed MLRA-SSO name from Ft. Wayne, IN to Plymouth, IN

Made the following changes to Technical Note - NASIS Text Notes Guide: Added correlation notes as a choice list under Mapunit Text notes (corrected an omission).

Changed subcategory "database" to "attributes" in Legend Text/miscellaneous notes/evaluation and Mapunit Text/miscellaneous notes/evaluation in order to be consistent with guidance provided in the revised Management of Soil Surveys by MLRA course.

Added guidance for Site, Site Observation, and Pedon text notes.
